Other than being a little cramped inside, this bar is wonderful. Food, service, selection of drinks are all amazing. The sourdough pasta is light and flavourful. The toppings and sauce on the pizzas are high quality. There's more than enough selection of draught beers and cocktails to cater for all tastes, and the name of 1000 spirits is accurate. Anything from cheap vodka or rum to high end whisky or tequila. Our meal ended up being pricey, but worth every penny as we thoroughly enjoyed every part of it.

I rave about the salmon sourdough pasta at Von's to everyone I know. The sauce is creamy and thick, and the pasta sponges up the sauce really well. They give you a generous amount of salmon and every bite is truly a taste of heaven. I've also tried their salads, which are fresh, refreshing, and delicious as well. During lunch hours on Monday-F, you get 25% off with a WA license, which is a good deal. There are always good vibes at Vons and I'm definitely going to keep coming back!

Came here for lunch. There was so much variety on the menu. I ended up ordering the Cesar salad and it was delicious! The croutons were creamy, garlicky, and crunchy. The salad was well tossed with the dressing and it came with a focaccia bread that was soft and well seasoned.

This place is awesome, from service to food it for sure hit all the marks. Firstly our server Spencer was perfect he was so kind and funny really made our night special. The wings were tangy but not too spicy and the fries are delicious. The burger and the seafood pasta also hit the nail on the head. I had the pineapple old fashion and my girlfriend had a tequila guava cocktail of some sort we both really enjoyed those as well. We will be back for sure!

We just had an incredible late night meal at Von's. Our servers Taylor, Sabrina, and Chris were on point. We were visiting from Los Angeles and planned a Tour de France of the Seattle City on a Tuesday. Our day started on Bainbridge Island. The bartender at Commuter Comforts recommended that we check out the restaurant. Then eight hours later as we were checking into the W hotel, the Front Desk recommended Von's too. Sometimes things just come full circle! We ordered the fish and chips, the salmon chowder, and the salmon pasta. All were delicious. Also, if you like hot sauce, definitely request the habanero sauce! If you are looking for late dining in Seattle, there's only one place to go, Von's!

After settling into our hotel we found this place down hill from us. It's a bustling bar/restaurant that played really good music that night. The lighting is dim but the atmosphere was really good. Our waitress was super friendly and made some great suggestions for cocktails. She even let us know what events were happening around Seattle during that weekend. For food we ordered the northwest king salmon pasta which uses their house made sourdough. pasta. All of the little ridges holds a lot of flavor. The pasta felt like it was cooked just right. Not mushy and not too al dente. The bits of king salmon were also thick and delicious. It wasn't fishy at all and had a nice spice to it. My wife ordered the cod and chips which was a giant piece of breaded cod and French fries. The taste was nothing out of the ordinary. Some spots were a little dry. The fries were your standard hand cut fries. It was just a normal taste for us. The cocktails were great however. Mine was the smoked oak & cherry Manhattan. It definitely has that Smokey taste with some sweetness from the cherry. I'm not sure what my wife had but it was sour tasting. Overall it was a good atmosphere with pretty good food. Would definitely visit again if we were to come to Seattle again.

Hearty Italian-American fare in downtown Seattle. It's got a warm, rustic feel and features fresh local seafood (but still has plenty of options if you're looking for something other than fish). The staff was warm and friendly, and every hour they spin a giant wheel for a drink deal -- we ended up scoring $8 Moscow Mules because of it! We ordered the 1/2 pound of clams as an appetizer, and while the tomato sauce was delicious the real star was the sourdough focaccia -- we liked it so much we ordered more to keep enjoying the clam sauce. Von's is known for their sourdough pasta, and we can see why -- it's got a chewy mouthfeel and sponged up all the pasta sauce really nicely. The salmon "hamburg" was fresh (albeit a bit bland), but the real star was the fries that came along with it -- crispy and lightly breaded, they were easily my favorite part of the meal!

Okay. Yum. Von's was such a fantastic find our a recent trip to Seattle. First, when they say 1000 spirits, they mean 1000 spirits. The bar is adorned with tons of bottles and they have a "bar bible" organized by liquor type for you to pick your poison. My friends and I had a reservation over the holiday weekend and were sat immediately. I enjoyed the guava champagne marg, which was incredibly refreshing and light; my friend got the skinny bitch cocktail and we were not prepared for the fun show that came with it (trust me!). We all decided to split a Caesar salad, the chicken and Gouda pasta, and the wild mushroom pizza. The pasta and pizza? DIVINE! I would have licked the pasta bowl had it been appropriate. The mushroom pizza was hearty and loaded with cheese - definitely get a side of their homemade ranch for that sourdough crust! Finally, our evening was made by the service. Chris R. (five stars - but let's add a sixth!) was fantastic. He was personal, hilarious (!), some would say iconic, and made the evening better with his banter. (Dear management, give this man a bonus.) I'm in Seattle a few times a year for work and will definitely be back for that pasta!
